UTILITIES – Ripples ILS
The utilities are referring to the component or set of functionalities that provide various
utility functions or tools to support the systems operations. The utilities module plays a
crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the library system and providing
administrators with the tools they need to manage the library effectively and efficiently.

2.1.1 Patron Type
Steps in adding New Patron Type
1. Go to Utilities
2. Click Patron Type
3. Click New Button
4. Enter New Patron Type in the text box.
5. Click Default hold priority
6. Click Save Button to add new record.
