Transfer a patron

Typically, you transfer a patron when they are moving to another site.

Example: A patron is moving from one side of town to another might change elementary schools.

Transfer a patron

Important: To transfer a patron, you must be a district-level user with access to manage patrons.
  1. Log in as a district-level user.
  2. Select Admin > Manage Patrons.
  3. In the Find field, type in part of the patron’s name, or type in the first initial of their name with a wildcard (*).
  4. From the list of patrons, find the patron you want to edit, and then click Edit. The Edit Patron page appears.
  5. In the Site Information section, click Transfer Patrons. The Transfer Patron page appears.
  6. In the Transfer to drop-down, select a location.
  7. Make any other changes required in the Site Information section, and then click Save. The Edit Patron page appears.
  8. Make any necessary changes, and then click Save.
